I am so proud of the work that we have done passing our hay family medical leave Bill age [REDACTED_NUMBER] look , at some point in our lives we all face the challenge of balancing work with the need to care for ourselves or a loved one , and we should n't be forced to sacrifice one for the other . That 's why we 've been working on paid family medical leave insurance for years in this building . And I 'm really proud that we were able to pass twelve weeks of paid leave for Vermonters . We all know someone , a friend , a loved one , a colleague who 's had to make this choice between their job and taking care of loved one . And that does n't reflect our values here in Vermont .
